Anne Meara (Bea) previously collaborated with director Eric Mendelsohn on his short film, "Through an Open Window." Meara's prolific film career has included, "The Fish in the Bathtub," "The Daytrippers," "Kiss of Death," "Heavyweights," "Reality Bites," "Awakenings," "The Boys From Brazil" and "Fame." She and her husband, Jerry Stiller, wrote and performed original comic sketches on "The Ed Sullivan Show," among other venues and developed the pilot for "The Stiller and Meara Show" together. Her theatrical credits include a Tony nominated performance in "Anna Christie," "Eastern Standard," "House of Blue Leaves" and "Romeo and Juliet." |
